One of the core policies of the IST is to encourage talent into the toxicology field in Ireland, from time to time the IST aims to celebrate excellence through its Awards and Bursaries program. The program aims to support, promote collaboration in addition to sharing knowledge and ideas to the toxicology community across Ireland and the EU. At the yearly IST meeting students from across Irish Universities are encouraged to attend and submit abstracts and posters for consideration.
